Q: Why do we need to upgrade the JRE? And what does that have to do with Console?
A: Versions less than 3.0 of AppSecInc Console for AppDetective and AppRadar were shipped with Java Runtime Environments (JRE) that Sun Microsystems says are not compliant with the new US DST rules.
Q: I cannot update my version of Console, does this mean I cannot or should not update the JRE?
A: The JRE should be updated to be in accordance with the new US DST rules. Please consult your system administrator to ensure that you have proper system privileges to upgrade the JRE.
