Peter Schwartz
Chief Financial Officer

Peter Schwartz is the Chief Financial Officer at Application Security, Inc. (AppSec). Peter brings more than 25 years of high tech financial management experience, including both public and private organizations, to AppSec. Most recently, Peter was CFO of Actimize (acquired by NICE), a provider of industry-leading analytics and monitoring solutions for enterprise operational risk management. Prior to Actimize, he served as the executive vice president and CFO for Artemis International Solutions Corporation, a global portfolio and project management solutions provider. In this role, he managed the reverse merger and integration of Opus360, a public NASDAQ software concern, with Artemis.

From 1998 to 2000, Peter was CFO of InterWorld Corporation, a provider of enterprise-class Internet commerce software for sales, order management, fulfillment, and customer service. While there, he was instrumental in securing several rounds of funding, including an initial public offering, and a NASDAQ listing. From 1987 to 1998, he served as senior vice president and CFO of Computer Associates (CA), an enterprise software firm. From 1983 to 1987, he also served in a number of other financial positions with CA. During his tenure, CA grew from a $58 million software developer to a $4 billion, multinational, Fortune 500 giant. Prior to his tenure with CA, Peter held financial management positions with Xerox Corporation and the Rochester Institute of Technology.

A former Marine Corp jet pilot, Peter has been awarded numerous distinctions from various financial organizations, including twice being named "One of the Leading CFOs" by CFO Magazine. He received his BA from Yale University and his MBA from George Washington University.
