Eric T. S. Gonzales

Eric T. S. Gonzales is Vice President, Corporate/Business Development for Application Security, Inc. (AppSec). A co-founder of the company, Eric is responsible for the development of strategic partnerships to drive product enhancement and company growth.

Prior to founding AppSec, Eric also co-founded DbSecure, Inc., "the pioneers in database security," and was a product manager within the vulnerability assessment products group at Internet Security Systems, Inc. (ISS), which was acquired by IBM.  Prior to ISS, Eric worked for Intrusion Detection, Inc. where he was responsible for all of the sales and marketing initiatives of their intrusion detection and vulnerability assessment security solutions for Novell and Windows NT.

Eric has served as a "database security evangelist," consistently delivering the message that enterprises need to hear about the vulnerabilities and threats affecting their databases. Eric has spoken at numerous user groups, seminars, and conferences all over the world for organizations such as the SANS Institute, the Professional Association for SQL Server (PASS), the Information Systems Audit and Control Association (ISACA), and the MIS Training Institute (MISTI).

Eric earned a BS at New York University.
