Anirban Chowdhuri
Vice President of Engineering

Anirban Chowdhuri is responsible for leading all of the product development efforts of Application Security, Inc.'s (AppSecInc), suite ofdatabase security products.
 
Before arriving at AppSecInc, Chowdhuri served as CTO at VideoBureau, a provider of high-end video communications hardware and software solutions to government and corporate organizations worldwide. At VideoBureau, as co-founder, Chowdhuri grew the product development organization from the ground up and deployed cutting edge video communications solutions customized to Judiciary, Trading Floor and Entertainment verticals.
 
Prior to his tenure at VideoBureau, Chowdhuri held product development leadership positions at  VisualScape, CCC and NYNEX, where he participated in the design of control software for public  and private switched networks. He followed this technology originating in the NYNEX Science & Technology, to NYNEX Media Communications Services (a NYNEX Venture Company offering) Company and through a number of private acquisitions.
 
Chowdhuri received his Bachelor of Science in Computer Engineering from Lehigh University in Bethlehem, Pennsylvania.
